1. Define the requirement
Start with the application, target size, surface, color direction and destination country. A photo or mood board is often more useful than a broad product name.
2. Verify the details
Ask the supplier to identify every sample with product code, size, thickness, finish and batch. Confirm sample freight and whether it can be credited against a later order.
3. Confirm before commitment
Before approving an order, compare the sample label, quotation, selected product image and any supporting technical document.
